Replay 2-3 months around the daily open. Log every sweep: did price reverse at least the wick's size within 5 bars? That hit rate tells you if the level matters on your pair.
Common failure points — Liquidity Sweep Detector
- Strong trends eat sweeps for breakfast — a close back inside means little in a runaway move
- Thin holiday liquidity produces fake sweeps with ease
- Not every sweep is a trap — some are genuine breakouts; structure decides, the label only points
