Best settings & timeframes — Session Range
| Input | Default |
|---|---|
| Sessions | Asia / London / New York (UTC windows) |
| RR projection | 1:2 on first box break (toggle) |
| HTF confluence | optional 4H EMA50 filter - breaks against the 4H trend are suppressed (closed-bar values) |
| Box style | high-low box, 80% transparency |
Timeframes: 15m-1H for the open drive
When it works best: Opening-range breakout context: mark session boxes, take the first post-close break in the direction of the higher-timeframe trend; the 1:RR lines assume box-height risk - they are a sizing aid, not a guaranteed target.

Common failure points — Session Range
- Bank-holiday and NFP mornings produce fake breaks
- Boxes drift if the session input timezone mismatches your chart
- Late-session breaks have weaker follow-through than the opening drive
