Starter thread, pinned. Before the boards fill up, this is the front door.

Tell us in the replies: who you are (first name or handle is fine), what you trade (pairs, gold, crypto — and on what timeframe), and one thing you're working on right now — sizing, patience, backtesting, anything honest.

House style from day one: no profit claims, no signal pitching, no "DM me". Members who introduce themselves before launch day get the Founding Member badge pinned to their early replies.

Useful first stops while you're here: the glossary, the gold position-size calculator, and the 1% rule guide that sets the tone for everything on this site.

Founder here — this thread stays pinned to the front door. Introductions from our first members set the tone: who you are, what you trade and on what timeframe, and one thing you are working on. No pitch required, ever.

What a useful introduction looks like: your market and session (say, EURUSD on London), how long you have been trading, the one concept that finally made risk make sense — and the mistake you hope others avoid. Two or three sentences is plenty; the point is that the next beginner who reads this thread sees real people, not avatars.

Where to go next after saying hello: the Beginner Questions board is judgment-free by rule, the Trading Journals board turns a random month into a documented experiment, and when a discussion gets technical, our education guides and free calculators back you up. Welcome aboard — the market is patient, and so are we.

House style reminder: replies here are conversations, not funnels. If an introduction reads like an ad, the auto-mod holds it back — everyone else is welcome in. The Founding Member badge is real: introduce yourself before launch day and it is pinned to your early replies.
